- Demonstrate understanding of spoken words, syllables and sounds (phonemes).
- Isolate and pronounce initial, medial vowel, and final sounds (phonemes) in spoken single syllable words.
- Know and apply grade-level phonics and word analysis skills in decoding words.
- Orally produce single-syllable words by blending sounds (Phonemes) including consonant blends.
- Recalling important details about the setting after the story is read.
- Segment spoken single-syllable words into their complete sequence of individual sounds (phonemes)

- Addition Fact Fluency within 10: ( +0, +1, Doubles Facts, and Sums of 10)
- Subtraction Fact Fluency within 10: ( -0, -1, Doubles Facts and Differences from 10)
Reminders
- Please help your child remember to charge their chromebook each evening. We use them daily.
- As the weather is getting cooler please make sure your child has appropriate outdoor clothing. We go outside for recess everyday unless the temperature is under 32 degrees or it is raining/snowing.
- Be sure to frequently review the orange High Frequency word cards with your child. They will need to know how to read all of these words by sight by the end of the quarter.
- Also be sure to frequently review the addition and subtraction fact flashcards with your child. They will need to demonstrate their fluency with these facts on their weekly timed tests.
- Please make sure to send your child with a full water bottle each day.

- November 17th-December 8th- Caring and Sharing Food and Loose Change DRive- collecting non-perishable food and loose change.
- December 9th- Picture retake day for students who did not have their picture taken or would like a retake. Picture forms are available in the office or in the Sparks
- December 23rd-January 1st- Winter Break
